JUDGMENT R. Raghunandan Rao, J. - The petitioner is Accused No.1 in Crime No.335 of 2022 on the file of Vinukonda Police Station, Palnadu District for the offences under Sections 420, 447, 427, 354 and 506 r/w 34 of Indian Penal Code. 2. The petitioner has now approached this Court for quashing the said complaint on the ground that the allegations made in the complaint are clearly false and would amount to a civil dispute being converted into a criminal complaint. 3. As the facts stated in the complaint require further investigation, before any conclusion can be drawn, it would not be appropriate for this Court to intervene in this case at this stage. 4. Accordingly, this Criminal Petition is disposed of. However, since the offences set out in the complaint do not attract the punishment of imprisonment of more than seven years, it would be appropriate to direct the Investigating Officer to serve notice under Section 41-A of Cr.P.C., before any further steps are taken against him. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications pending if any, shall stand closed.
