JUDGMENT (Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the proceedings No.6793/2009/A7 dated 12.07.2013 issued by the second respondent and quash the same and further, to direct the respondents to adhere to the first list issued on 31.12.2009 and list dated 28.03.2013 and give notional promotion to the petitioners together with all attendant benefits.) 1. This writ petition has been filed seeking quash of the proceedings No.6793/2009/A7 dated 12.07.2013 issued by the second respondent and further, to direct the respondents to adhere to the first list issued on 31.12.2009 and list dated 28.03.2013 and give notional promotion to the petitioners together with all attendant benefits. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners made a submission that the petitioners 2, 6, 7, 10, 19, 20, 22, 23 and 24 died and hence, no further adjudication is required in this petition insofar as these petitioners are concerned. 3. In view of the submissions made, this Writ Petition is dismissed as abated insofar as petitioners 2, 6, 7, 10, 19, 20, 22, 23 and 24 are concerned. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner made a submission that the benefits, sought for by the 26th petitioner viz., R.Govindarajan, have already been granted. 5. In view of the submissions made, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous insofar as the 26th petitioner viz., R.Govindarajan is concerned. 6. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners made a submission that with reference to the rules of seniority and for grant of consequential benefits, on furnishing individual particulars, the case will be considered. Thus, the respondents are ready and willing to consider the individual cases based on the particulars of the employee concerned. This being the proceedings issued by the Government in letter dated 26.11.2021, the petitioners 1, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 21 and 25 are at liberty to approach the competent authority for redressal of their grievances. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of insofar as the petitioners 1, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 21 and 25 are concerned. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
