ORDER SLP (Crl.) No(s).3546/2018 1. While dealing with Criminal Appeal No.100 of 2013, the conviction and sentence recorded by the trial court was affirmed by the High Court. 2. However, during the course of the judgment, the High Court issued various directions contained in paragraph 103 of the decision. Aggrieved principally by such directions issued in paragraph 103 of the judgment, the instant petition has been filed by the State of Uttarakhand. Notice was issued by this Court vide order dated 01.05.2018. 3. Though the issues raised in the Special Leave Petition do call for authoritative pronouncement, in view of the decision taken by the State Cabinet in its Meeting dated 12.10.2022, principally accepting the decision of the High Court and taking appropriate steps to implement said directions, we see no reason to interfere with the present petition. The Special Leave petition is therefore disposed of leaving all questions of law open. 4. A note incorporating statement regarding the Cabinet decision has been placed before us by Mr. Jatinder Kumar Sethi, Deputy Advocate General for the State of Uttarakhand, today. The same is taken on record. 5. Pending interlocutory application(s), if any, stands disposed of. SLP(C) No.19903/2018 6. In view of the above order passed in SLP (Crl.) No(s).3546/2018, no further order is called for in this petition. 7. The Special Leave Petition is accordingly disposed of. IA No. 145204/2022 for intervention is also disposed of.
