ORDER 1. Application seeking permission to appear and argue in person is allowed. 2. Petitioner-in-person who is an also advocate submits that much water has flown since the petition was filed and amendments have been made but one aspect still needs consideration. She refers to Section 4(3)(i) of the Pre-Conception and Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (Prohibition of Sex Selection) Act, 1994 to contend that the age restriction of 35 years is a restriction on the reproductive rights of women and in view of the recent judgment of this Court in 2022 SCC Online SC 1321 titled 'X vs. Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi and Another' the provision would not stand judicial scrutiny. 3. Issue notice restricted to the aforesaid aspect. 4. A copy of the order to accompany the notice.
