JUDGMENT 1. The instant criminal writ petition has been preferred on behalf of the petitoner Sahajad Khan S/o Liyakat Khan seeking emergent parole of 20 days for the treatment of his mother-in-law Smt. Lata Verma, whose affidavit has been annexed with the petition. 2. Learned aaG has submitted a medical report, as per which, the petitioner's mother-in-law Smt. Lata Verma has been advised eye surgery. as per the report forwarded by the Superintendent of Police, ajmer, Smt. Lata Verma resides with the petitioner's family, which consists of his wife Geetanjali, son Veer @ Vaibhav and minor daughter Hiranya. 3. Today, Ms. Laxmi Ramawat, learned counsel representing the petitioner, has placed on record a copy of the outdoor slip issued from the JLN Hospital, ajmer, as per which, the Cataract/Glaucoma surgery of the lady has been fixed for tomorrow. 4. In this background, we are inclined to extend the indulgence of seven days' emergent parole to the petitioner. accordingly, the instant criminal writ petition is allowed and it is ordered that the convict petitioner Sahajad Khan S/o Liyakat Khan shall be released on emergent parole for a period of seven days provided he furnishes a personal bond in the sum of Rs.1,00,000/-and two sound and solvent sureties in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Superintendent, Central Jail, Jodhpur. The period of parole shall be counted from the date of actual release. The Superintendent Central, Jail, Jodhpur shall be at liberty to impose other usual terms and conditions for releasing the petitioner on parole. The petitioner shall surrender before the jail authorities in the morning of the next day of completion of the period of parole. The matter shall be listed on 27.06.2022 for receiving the report regarding surrender of the accused.
