ORDER 1. Application for permission to file the Contempt Petition is granted. 2. In pursuance of the order dated 9 November 2022, we have heard the counsel appearing on behalf of the respective States and Union Territories who have appeared in these proceedings. 3. In order to ensure finality to the process of counselling for the NEET-PG admissions for the ensuing academic year, we direct that all the States and Union Territories shall complete the second round of counselling by 6.00 pm on 16 November 2022 and submit the data on the same day to the Medical Counselling Committee for the purpose of uploading the data. 4. Thereafter, the counselling for the mop up round of the All India Quota shall be carried out and completed by the competent authority of the Union Government. 5. The State of Maharashtra shall proceed with the State mop up round only after the mop up round for the All India Quota is complete. 6. No further directions are necessary. 7. The Contempt Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. 8. Pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.
