JUDGMENT : 1. The present writ petition has been filed for quashing the decision taken by Santhal Pargana Regional Transport Authority, Dumka in its meetings dated 11th February, 2020, 12th February, 2020 and 13th February, 2020, granting permanent permit for alternate trip to the respondent nos.4 and 5 for the route- Sahibganj to Ranchi via Borio, Barhet, Littipara, Amrapara, Kathikund, Dumka, Palajori, Sarath, Madhupur, Giridih, Isri, Bagodar, Bishnugarh, Hazaribagh and Ramgarh. Further prayer has been made for quashing the permanent permits being Permit nos.SC-PSTS-0001/20(DMK) & SC-PSTS-0002/20 along with their time table issued by the respondent no.2 to the respondent nos.4 and 5, respectively, which are valid for the period from 30th May, 2020 to 29th May, 2025, and the same have subsequently been countersigned by North Chotanagpur Regional Transport Authority, Hazaribgh on 31st December, 2020. 2. Mr. Manish Mishra, learned G.P.V, appearing on behalf of the State respondents submits that the petitioner has efficacious remedy of preferring appeal against the decision taken by Santhal Pargana Regional Transport Authority, Dumka before the State Transport Appellate Tribunal, Jharkhand, Ranchi and as such the present writ petition is not maintainable at this stage. 3. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and keeping in view that the petitioner has efficacious remedy of preferring appeal before the State Transport Appellate Tribunal, Jharkhand, Ranchi against the decision taken by Santhal Pargana Regional Transport Authority, Dumka as well as the consequential action, I am not inclined to entertain the present writ petition at this stage and the same is dismissed as not maintainable. 4. The petitioner is, however, at liberty to prefer an appeal against the aforesaid decision taken by Santhal Pargana Regional Transport Authority, Dumka in its meetings dated 11th February, 2020, 12th February, 2020 and 13th February, 2020.
