JUDGMENT : 1. This application has been filed seeking for extension of Succession Certificate granted by this Court on 20.06.2018 in O.P. No.82 of 2018 to the securities morefully described in the schedule to the Judges Summons of this Application also. 2. By order dated 20.06.2018, this Court granted Succession Certificate in favour of the applicants/ petitioners for the securities held by M.Manickam, who died intestate. 3. Heard Mr.Ralph V.Manohar, learned counsel for the applicants/ petitioners. 4. According to the learned counsel for the applicants/ petitioners, the securities mentioned in the schedule to the Judges Summons in this application were left out in the earlier O.P. No.82 of 2018. 5. According to the learned counsel for the applicants/ petitioners, they came to know about the securities mentioned in the schedule to the Judges Summons of this application only recently and under those circumstances, they have filed this application. 6. Evidence has already been recorded before the learned Master. 7. One M.Rajalingam, the second petitioner in O.P. No.82 of 2018, who is the son of the deceased M.Manickam was examined as a witness (P.W.1). In his deposition, he has reiterated the contents of the affidavit filed in support of this application. Through P.W.1, the following documents were marked as Exhibits:- Exhibits Nature of the document Ex.A-1 Computer generated death certificate of M.Manickam, who died on 30.08.2010. Ex.A-2 Photocopy of the Legal Heirship certificate dated 27.04.2011 in respect of M.Manickam. Ex.A-3 Photocopy of the Certificate dated 28.11.2019 issued by the office of the Inspector of Police, F-5, Choolaimedu Crime Police Station, Chennai –600 094. Ex.A-4 Photocopy of the Entitlement Letter dated 05.02.2019, issued by Karvy Fintech Private Limited (KFPL) to M.Rajalingam. 8. As seen from the Ex.A4, the securities mentioned in the schedule to the Judges Summons in this application stands only in the name of M.Manickam, the deceased, who died intestate on 30.08.2010. 9. After giving due consideration to the averments contained in the affidavit filed in support of this application as well as the evidence available on record, this Court is inclined to grant the prayer sought for in this application. 10. Accordingly, A.No.1492 of 2021 is allowed as prayed for and the Succession Certificate granted by this Court on 20.06.2018 in O.P. No.82 of 2018 shall stand extended to the securities morefully described in the schedule to the Judges Summons in support of A. No.1492 of 2021.
