JUDGMENT Anoop Chitkara, J. - The present petition has been filed seeking quashing of impugned order dated 15.11.2018 vide which application of the petitioner for releasing the vehicle on Sapurdari was dismissed. 2. A perusal of the file reveals that the petitioner is not the registered owner of the vehicle in question and seeking release of vehicle on the basis of Special Power of Attorney, executed by owner in his favour. 3. Since the petitioner is not a registered owner, as such he cannot ask for release of vehicle in his favour. 4. Given above, the present petition is dismissed with the liberty to file fresh petition/application before the competent authority i.e. concerned SDM, by the registered owner of the vehicle. All pending application(s), if any, stand disposed of.
