JUDGMENT (Prayer: Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to re-engage the Petitioners and absorb them on permanent basis as Anti-Poaching Watchers or Forest Watchers with all attendant benefits.) 1. The relief sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the Respondents to re-engage the Petitioners and absorb them on permanent basis as Anti-Poaching Watchers or Forest Watchers with all attendant benefits. 2. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioners were engaged as Anti-Poaching Watchers in the year 2011 at Pallikaranai wet lands. The petitioners were discharging their duties and their services were discharged in February 2014 onwards. Thereafter, the petitioners were not engaged. 3. The grievances of the writ petitioner is that the salary due is yet to be settled. 4. As far as the wages due if any to the petitioners, the same is to be settled by verifying the records of the petitioners by the respondents as expeditiously as possible. Thus, the respondents are directed to verify the Service Records and if any wages to be paid, the same must be paid without causing any undue delay. 5. In this regard, the petitioners are permitted to make representation to the competent authorities for redressal of their grievances. 6. With these observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
