JUDGMENT (Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 03.03.2014.) 1. There is no representation on behalf of the Petitioner. 2. This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the first respondent to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 03.03.2014. 3. However, in the typed set of documents filed by the petitioner there are only copies of the representation of the petitioner dated 01.03.2014 sent both to the first and second respondents. They read almost identically. 4. As per the aforesaid representations of the petitioner, the petitioner rallied along with his family members, victims and some other advocates from Ariyalur MLA Office to the Office of the Superintendent of Police, Ariyalur and sought for permission to stage a protest and rally against the Inspector of Police, Land Grabbing Wing, Ariyalur District and further requested for police protection. The aforesaid request of the petitioner has been rejected by the first respondent on 25.03.2014. 5. In paragraph 6 of the counter affidavit filed by the respondents stated that the petitioner had filed Crl.O.P.No.3562 of 2014 before this Court to direct the respondents to complete the investigation and to file a charge sheet in Crime No.1 of 2012 dated 14.07.2012 on file of the second respondent herein, the Inspector of Police,Land Grabbing Wing, Ariyalur District. 6. The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ariyalur, Sub Division, Ariyalur District in his proceedings dated 25.03.2014 bearing reference:Na.Ka.No.76/DPO/Ariyalur/2014 has disposed of the petitioner's aforesaid representation dated 01.03.2014 stating that there is a private dispute and that if permission is granted, it would lead to law and order problem. In view of the above, I am inclined to dismiss this Writ Petition. 7. This writ petition stands dismissed in the light of the above discussions and observations. No cost.
