JUDGMENT Battu Devanand, J. - This Contempt Case has been filed against the Respondents for their wilful disobedience in implementing the order, dated 08.02.2017 in W.P.No.37300 of 2012. 2. This Court while allowing the said writ petition holding that the petitioners are entitled for compensation at the SSR rates of 2005-2006. This Court directed the 2nd Respondent to pay the differential amount of ex-gratia at SSR rates prevailing in the year 2005-06, with interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the date of possession taken over in the year 2006, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. 3. On behalf of the 2nd Respondent, a counter-affidavit has been filed. 4. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel appearing for the Respondents. 5. The learned counsel appearing for the Respondents submits that the order of this Court is complied with by making payment to the petitioners. 6. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that against the order in W.P.No.37300 of 2012 claiming more compensation, the petitioners filed a Writ appeal before this Court and the said Writ appeal is allowed. Thereafter for non-compliance of the orders of the Division Bench in Writ appeal, they filed contempt case and it is pending before the Division Bench. Learned counsel further submits that in view of the pendency of the contempt case before the Division Bench, no further orders are required in the present contempt case. 7. Considering the submissions of the respective counsels, in our considered view, further adjudication in this contempt case is not required. 8. accordingly, this contempt case is closed. 9. There shall be no order as to costs. 10. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this case shall stand closed.
