JUDGMENT Arindam Sinha, J. - Mr. Sahoo, learned advocate appears on behalf of applicant and draws attention to order dated 16th November, 2022. Paragraphs 3 and 4 from said order are extracted and reproduced below. '3. It appears, though applicant obtained order in his writ petition and alleged contemner is contending compliance therewith but applicant still remains denied the relief. This is because of what is commonly known as bureaucratic red tape. 4. Alleged contemner is directed to serve website copy of this order on Deputy Secretary to Government (Rural Housing) P.R. & D.W. Department, Government of Odisha for causing expeditious steps being taken on the request made for the inclusion. It is expected that applicant will receive information on inclusion of his name in the RH Portal prior to adjourned date, failing which, Court will consider on order to be made.' 2. Mr. Sharma, learned advocate, Additional Government Advocate appears on behalf of alleged contemner and files further affidavit dated 29th November, 2022 disclosing communication of aforesaid order as directed therein. He also hands up letter dated 30th November, 2022 from Deputy Secretary to Government, Panchayatiraj and Drinking Water Department, to him. Following from the letter is extracted and reproduced below. '1. The Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD), Government of India has disabled entry of Households details in the Awass+ for Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana (Gramin) w.e.f. 07.03.2019. Thus, the household details of Sri Trinath Biswal cannot be entered in the Awaas+ now. 2. However, for facilitation of house sanction, the household details of Sri Trinath Biswal has been entered in the Government of Odisha owned Rural Housing Portal (Screenshot attached). Upon receipt of Biju Pucca Ghar Yojana targets, the case of Sri Trinath Biswal shall be considered as per eligibility.' 3. In view of the scheme being for social welfare and assurance given by the authority that applicant's case shall be considered as per eligibility upon receipt of Biju Pucca Ghar Yojana targets, this Court accepts the affidavit and the letter as compliance. 4. The contempt proceeding is dropped and the application, disposed of.
