JUDGMENT 1. Mr. Mohanty, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and submits, his client is seeking allotment of land, recommended by the Sub-Collector to the Collector on letter dated 21st September, 2017. Pursuant thereto his client made representation dated 18th September, 2021 to the Collector but the allotment has not been made. He prays for appropriate direction. 2. Mr. Babu, learned advocate, Additional Government Advocate appears on behalf of State and submits, the representation will be duly dealt with. Mr. Mohanty submits till that time there should not be allotment of the land to someone else. 3. Petitioner has a recommendation by the Sub-Collector. Mr. Mohanty submits, the Sub-Collector recommended on basis of recommendation made by the Tahasildar. In the circumstances opposite party no.2 is directed to consider and deal with petitioner's representation dated 18th September, 2022. Petitioner is to be informed of decision taken within three weeks of communication. The Collector, if thinks necessary, may give hearing to petitioner. 4. By reason of the recommendation made in favour of petitioner, opposite party no.2 will not allot the land in question to any other till three weeks after decision is taken on petitioner's said representation. 5. The writ petition is disposed of.
