ORDER Heard the parties. 2. The petitioner by way of this writ petition prays that the respondent-Board may take steps on the basis of inspection conducted of the institution on 27.01.2015. 3. Learned counsel submits that after filing of the writ petition the respondent-Board wants to conduct a fresh inspection and thereby delay the proceedings. He submits that once there was already an inspection conducted, no purpose would be served in getting fresh inspection done and delay the matter. 4. I have considered the submissions. 5. It is seven years back of that the inspection was conducted, the petitioner preferred a writ petition in 2021 and slept over his right for almost seven years. 6. Be that as it may, as informed the respondents have now proceeded to conduct a fresh inspection for the purpose to grant affiliation, the inspection would of course have been conducted in terms of the Act under 2019 and the petitioner would have to confirm the said norms as the affiliation has to be granted from a prospective date. 7. However, considering that the petitioner had already deposited a huge amount of rupees one lakh as way back in 2014, the respondents would not to be allowed to demand fees afresh for the purpose of inspection. After the inspection is conducted decision shall be taken expeditiously preferably within a period of three months thereafter. 8. The writ petition is accordingly partly allowed.
