JUDGMENT 1. Mr. Mohanty, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and submits, his client is a tribal and without homestead. The government by circular dated 21st August, 2018 formulated scheme for settlement of government land with homesteadless persons in rural areas. The scheme is called 'Vasundhara'. His client made representation dated 30th September, 2022 to the Collector for settlement of land to her. There be direction upon the authority to consider the representation. 2. Mr. Rout, learned advocate, Additional Standing Counsel appears on behalf of State and submits, on earlier approach made by petitioner, land has already been allotted. Mr. Mohanty submits, the land was objectionable and therefore his client vacated it and is now residing in a slum. Hence, the representation. 3. Opposite party no.2 is directed to consider and deal with said representation dated 30th September, 2022. It goes without saying that the office will be entitled to ascertain facts on the ground in dealing with the representation. Decision taken, be informed to petitioner within four weeks of communication. 4. The writ petition is disposed of.
