JUDGMENT : P.C. 1. Heard Mr. Pangam for the Petitioner and Mr. Pravin Faldessai, learned Addl. Govt. Advocate for Respondents No.1 and 2. 2. The main relief in this Petition is to direct the Respondents to comply with our order dated 8/7/2021, by which we had directed the Respondents to dispose of the Petitioner's representation within six weeks. 3. According to us, the Petitioner should not have filed a fresh petition. The Petitioner could have, possibly, initiated a motion for contempt against the Respondents for disobeying the clear directions contained in our order dated 8/7/2021. 4. Be that as it may, Mr. Faldessai now points out that the previous Director did not take any steps at compliance. He points out that the present Director Shri Sudhir Kerkar has taken charge on 1/12/2021. 5. Mr. Faldessai points out that Misc. Civil Application No.586/2022 (f) has now been taken out in Writ Petition No.251/2021, seeking extension of time. He hands in a copy of this application which is dated 14/3/2022. 6. Though, it is quite unfortunate that our directions were not complied with, we now take note of the assurance given by the present Director that the Petitioner's representation will be considered and disposed of within 4 weeks from today. 7. The present Director Shri Sudhir Kerkar is present in the Court and he states that he will now comply with the directions contained in our order dated 8/7/2021 and dispose of the Petitioner's representation within 4 weeks from today, without seeking any further extension of time. 8. We accept the statement of Shri Kerkar and grant extension of time by 4 weeks to comply with the directions contained in our order dated 8/7/2021. With this, even the grievance of the Petitioner in the present Petition, stands worked out. 9. Accordingly, we take on board Misc. Civil Application No.586/2022(f) and dispose of the same by granting four weeks' extension. 10. Similarly, we also dispose of the present Writ Petition by directing that the representation of the Petitioner must be disposed within four weeks from today, and even the decision must be communicated to the Petitioner within the said period of four weeks. 11. Writ Petition No.41/2022 and Misc. Civil Application No.586/2022 (f) in Writ Petition No.251/2021, are disposed of. Liberty contained in paragraph 3 of our order dated 8/7/2021 in Writ Petition No.251/2021, is reiterated.
