JUDGMENT Cheekati Manavendranath Roy, J. - These Criminal Petitions under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short "Cr.P.C.") are filed seeking quash the F.I.Rs in Crime No.310 of 2021 of Sattenapalli Town Police Station registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 188, 272 and 273 of IPC and Section 20(1) r/w 7(1) of Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products (Prohibition of advertisement and Regulation of Trade and Commerce, Production, Supply and Distribution) act, 2003 (for short "COTP act"); in Crime No.272 of 2021 of Sattenapalli Town Police Station registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 188, 272 and 273 of IPC and Section 20(1) r/w 7(1) of COTP act; in Crime No.265 of 2021 of Sattenapalli Town Police Station registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 188, 272 and 273 of IPC and Section 20(1) r/w 7(1) of COTP act; in Crime No.221 of 2021 of Sattenapalli Town Police Station registered for the offences punishable under Sections 269, 271, 272, 273 and 328 of IPC and Section 5 r/w 22 of COTP act and quash the proceedings in C.C.No.544 of 2019 on the file of Judicial Magistrate of I Class, Prathipadu, East Godavari District registered for the offences punishable under Sections 271, 272, 273 of IPC and Section 5(1) of COTP act. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned additional Public Prosecutor for the State. 3. These are covered matters in view of the earlier common orders passed by this Court in Criminal Petition No.5421 of 2019 and batch and Criminal Petition No.2966 of 2021 and batch, whereby this Court has quashed several F.I.Rs and charge sheets registered for the similar offences based on identical facts. Therefore, the petitioners, who are similarly placed, are also entitled for quash of the criminal proceedings launched against them. 4. Therefore, in view of the aforesaid common orders of this Court and for the reasons stated therein, these Criminal Petitions are allowed and the aforesaid charge sheet and F.I.Rs registered against the petitioners are hereby quashed. 5. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in the Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
