ORDER : 1. The present writ petition has been filed for quashing the letter as contained in Ref. No. BSL/PERS/OD/2022-1712 dated 21st May, 2022 (Annexure-3 to the writ petition) issued by the General manager (Personnel), Steel Authority of India Limited- respondent no. 5, whereby the petitioner has been removed from the post of Secretary of Bokaro Steel Employees Co-operative House Construction Society Limited and the respondent no. 6-S. N.P. Singh has been substituted in his place. 2. Mr. G.M. Mishra, learned counsel for the respondent no. 5, raises preliminary objection with regard to maintainability of the writ petition and submits that the petitioner has the efficacious/statutory remedy to challenge the aforesaid letter dated 21st May, 2022 under Section 48 of the Bihar (Now Jharkhand) Co-operative Societies Act, 1935 before the Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Jharkhand, Ranchi. 3. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and keeping in view that the petitioner has the efficacious/statutory remedy to challenge the letter dated 21st May, 2022 issued by the respondent no. 5 as also the consequential action taken in this regard before the Registrar Co-operative Societies, Jharkhand, this Court is not inclined to entertain the present writ petition at this stage and the same is, accordingly, dismissed as not maintainable. 4. The petitioner is, however, at liberty to take alternative/statutory recourse as provided under law. 5. I.A. No. 5318 of 2022 is also dismissed.
