ORDER 1. The convict namely, Sk. Abdul Nayeem @ Sk. Samir @ Nayya @ Abu Ali is personally present in court. Other convicts are represented by their learned advocates. Material exhibits have been produced before this court. Sk. Abdul Nayeem requests the court to give opportunity to him to inspect the material exhibits. Such leave is granted to Sk. Abdul Nayeem as well as the learned advocates representing the other convicts. 2. In the event Sk. Abdul Nayeem or other appellants request for photocopy of any other material exhibits, office shall provide a copy of the same after due acknowledgement in the records. 3. Mr. Apalak Basu, learned advocate assigned by the State Legal Services Authority to assist Sk. Abdul Nayeem in advancing arguments seeks leave to file petition of appeal on his behalf along with an application for condonation of delay. He also seeks leave to file the appeal dispensing with certified copy of the impugned judgment and order. Such leave is granted. 4. Needless to mention the convict viz. Sk. Abdul Nayeem is at liberty to appear before the Oath Commissioner of High Court under proper security escort for affirmation of affidavits appended to the pleadings. 5. It is made clear Sk. Abdul Nayeem will ordinarily access the proceedings through video linkage from the correctional home where he is presently kept. Only on those dates Sk. Abdul Nayeem advances oral arguments, he shall be produced physically before this court under proper security arrangements. 6. Let a copy of this order be supplied to the Director General, West Bengal Correctional Services, Director General of Police, West Bengal and Superintendent, Presidency Correctional Home for necessary intimation and compliance. 7. Let these matters appear on 19.05.2022 at 10:30 A.M. for admission.
