The application for placing on record the receipt dated 06.03.2023, 21.03.2023 and a copy of the judgment dated 21.03.2023 as Annexures P-13, P-14 and P-15, is allowed as prayed. The aforesaid documents are taken on record. CRM-13963-2023 2. This is an application seeking advancement of next date of hearing i.e. 04.05.2023 fixed in the main case to some early date. 3. For the reasons mentioned in the application, same is allowed and the next date of hearing fixed in the main case is advanced to today itself and the same is taken up for hearing. CRM-M-11348-2023 4. On 03.03.2023, the following order was passed in this case:- “The prayer in the present petition under Section 482 Cr.PC is for quashing of the Complaint No.COMA 103 dated 12.11.2018 (Annexure P-1) titled as State Vs. Jarnail Singh under Sections 32, 33 of Indian Forest Act, 1927 and the order dated 20.02.2020 (Annexure P-11) vide which the petitioner was declared as a proclaimed person. The Counsel for the petitioner contends that proper procedure was not followed while passing the impugned order. In fact, the petitioner was residing abroad. He states that the petitioner is ready and willing to join the proceedings in accordance with law. Notice of motion for 04.05.2023. In the meanwhile, petitioner is directed to surrender before the Trial Court/Duty Magistrate within a period of one week from today and subject to his depositing Rs.1,00,000/- as costs with Sadhna Society for the Mentally Handicapped Near Housing Board Chowk, Raen Basera Building, Manimaja, Sector 13, Chandigarh and also depositing his passport before the Trial Court, he shall be admitted to interim bail to the satisfaction of the Trial Court”. 5. The learned counsel for the petitioner has apprised the Court that pursuant to the aforementioned order, the petitioner surrendered, pleaded guilty and was convicted by the Trial Court for having committed an offence under Section 33 of the Indian Forest Act vide judgment dated 21.03.2023 (Annexure P-14). He was sentenced to deposit a fine of Rs.500/-, which has already been deposited vide receipt dated 21.03.2023 (Annexure P-15). 6. In view of the fact that the petitioner has appeared, pleaded guilty and already stands convicted, the Trial Court is directed to release the passport of the petitioner forthwith. 7. In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed by this Court.
