JUDGMENT/ORDER 1. Heard Mr Rohan Dessai, learned counsel for the applicant. 2. Due to some technical difficulty, though the matter has been filed through e-filing, the same could not be retrieved. I have taken a hard copy on record considering the urgency. 3. Proceedings are under 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act initiated against the applicant The trial Court convicted the applicant and directed payment of compensation of Rs.5, 00, 000.00. The appeal filed before Sessions Judge has been dismissed. Learned counsel for the applicant produced a receipt dtd. 30/6/2023 on record of having deposited a sum of Rs.5, 00, 000.00 with the respondent - The Sahakar Urban Cooperative Credit Society Ltd. 4. Issue notice to the respondents returnable on 17/7/2023 high on board. CRIMINAL MISC. APPLICATION NO. 466 OF 2023-F IN CRIMINAL REVISION APPLICATION NO. 465 OF 2023-F 5. This is an application for suspension of the sentence imposed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class at VascoDa-Gama dtd. 28/9/2017 and as confirmed by the Additional Sessions Judge, South Goa, Margao in Criminal Appeal No.90/2017 dtd. 11/9/2018 sentencing the applicant. The sentence stands suspended. 6. The applicant be released forthwith on bail on his furnishing PR bond in the sum of Rs.10, 000.00 with one or more surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court. 7. CRMA No. 467 of 2023-F stands disposed of.
