JUDGMENT 1. This matter is taken up through hybrid arrangement (virtual / physical) mode. 2. This is a reference under Section 366 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, in view of the conviction of the Respondents, namely, Sk. Asif Alli @ Md. Asif Iqbal and Sk. Akil Alli for commission of offences under Section 302/ 376A/ 376D of the I.P.C. whereby they have been sentenced to death by the learned Ad hoc Additional District and Sessions Judge, FTSC (POCSO), Jagatsinghpur vide judgment dated 29.11.2022 passed in Special G.R. (POCSO) Case No.30 of 2014 arising out Tirtol P.S. Case No.183 of 2014. 3. Sk. Zafarulla, learned counsel for the Respondents submits that in the meantime, the Respondents have filed two separate Appeals. 4. Registry to trace out the same and list this matter in the week commencing 6th February, 2023 along with the Appeals stated to have been filed by the Respondents..
