JUDGMENT 1. At the time of hearing, Mr. Mohanty has placed on record a letter dated 19.01.2023 issued by Shri Alok Kumar Kar, Director R&R & Ex-Officio Additional Secretary to Government, wherein it is stated that the admissible amount of compensation to be paid under Section 18(1) of the L.A. Act, 1894 to the petitioner has since been sanctioned and payment through electronic transfer has been ordered. Mr. Mohanty further assures the Court that the required payment shall be transferred by tomorrow. 2. Mr. Behera, in view of the above, concedes that the present contempt has become infructuous as the order dated 09.09.2020 passed in W.P.(C) No.21037 of 2020 stands complied with. 3. In view of the above, CONTC is dismissed as infructuous..
