JAGMOHAN BANSAL, J. 1. The petitioner through instant petition under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to delete name of husband of the petitioner from her passport bearing No.W9870254 (Annexure P-2). 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that petitioner has not solemnized marriage with Partap Singh, however, name of Partap Singh was jotted down in the application seeking passport as husband as they had planned to go out of country and solemnize marriage. The petitioner could not solemnize marriage with Partap Singh, thus, she wants to get name of Partap Singh deleted from her passport. 3. Ms. Shweta Nahata, Advocate for respondents No.1 and 2 accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. She fairly submits that competent authority would decide representation dated 13.04.2023 (Annexure P-3) and legal notice dated 03.05.2022 (Annexure P-4) of the petitioner within 6 weeks from today. 4. In view of the statement of learned counsel for the respondents, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents to pass an appropriate order on representation dated 13.04.2023 (Annexure P-3) and legal notice dated 03.05.2022 (Annexure P-4) within 6 weeks from today. Order accordingly.
