ORDER 1. Applications to bring on record additional facts/documents and permission to file additional documents are allowed. 2. We are of the view that the impasse must be broken and elections held which was the original objective. In fact the dispute over Ombudsman came to this Court and in the whole process this matter has continued while the very appointment of Ombudsman was for a period of one year! Now the question is how to ensure that a fair and proper elections are held so that the matter can be put to rest. 3. Some suggestions were made. This Court is of the view that Hon'ble L. Nageswara Rao, J. (Retd.) of this Court would be the most appropriate person to be appointed as the single Member Committee to sort out this mess. It is open to him to take assistance of whatever person/authority he so desires. He will fix his own emoluments. The expenses will be borne by the Association. If the learned Judge needs some directions from this Court, the matter be placed limited for the aforesaid purpose.Needless to say that the Association will render all necessary support for the learned Judge to carry out the exercise. 4. In view of what we have already noted, qua the issue of Supervisory Committee with inter se dissents, the Supervisory Committee will not survive. List on 02.03.2023. 5. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent No.2 submits that the stand of Justice Kakru has been already placed on record now and he has in fact sought recusal in view of the approach adopted. We have already opined that the Supervisory Committee will not function any more and so far as the issue of signing power is concerned, that will also be dealt with by Justice L. Nageswara Rao. 6. A copy of the order be forthwith transmitted to Hon. L. Nageswara Rao. 7. The records of the proceedings of this Court, pleadings and report, if sought by Justice L. Nageswara Rao can be placed before him.
