JUDGMENT (Prayer:Appeal under Clause 15 of the Letters Patent to set aside the order dated 03.03.2022 passed in W.P.No.2293 of 2021 by the learned Single Judge.) Sanjay V. Gangapurwala, CJ. 1. We have heard Mr.S.N.Ravichandran, learned counsel for the appellant and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader, assisted by Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 3. 2. The present appeal is filed against the judgment of the learned Single Judge thereby dismissing the writ petition filed by the appellant challenging the memorandums dated 8.12.2020 and 28.5.2018. 3. Learned counsel for the appellant submits that the appellant was entitled for waiver of penal interest as per the government order dated 16.3.2015. Even representation was given for waiver of the penal interest. The same was rejected on erroneous grounds. A representation was also given to the Chief Minister''s Cell. The respondents are bound by the government orders issued. 4. The matter was litigated between the appellant and the respondent creditor. An award was passed. The appellant challenged the award before this court. This court dismissed the writ petition challenging the award. The award has become final. Now, the appellant is bound to pay the amount as per the award. The learned Single Judge has properly appreciated the facts on record. 5. In the light of that, the appeal is dismissed. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, C.M.P.No.15075 of 2023 is closed.
