ORDER : (Sanjaya Kumar Mishra, J.) 1. By filing this intra-court appeal under Clause 10 of the Letters Patent Appeal, the appellant-writ petitioner has prayed to set aside the order dated 18.8.2021 passed by the learned Single Judge in WP(C) No. 2999 of 2020. 2. Admittedly the case relates to Land Acquisition made in the year 1981-82 and the writ petitioner remained silent for almost four decades before agitating the matter before this Court. . 3. The learned Single Judge, after considering the facts of this case and taking into consideration the judgments reported in the case of Syed Maqbool Ali Vs. State of U.P. and Anr., reported in (2011) 15 SCC 383 and Shibu Rajwar Vs. Bharat Coking Coal Limited and Ors., reported in 2017 SCC Online Jhar. 3307, dismissed the application mainly on the ground that the writ petition is without merit because of delay and laches on the part of the writ petitioner. 4. We also agree with the findings mentioned in the impugned order. Accordingly, this appeal is dismissed in liminie. 5. No order as to costs.
