ORDER : 1. In this petition, one of the main grievances is that the Committee is required to be constituted under the State Wetland Rules, 2017 (for short 'the Rules of 2017') which has not been constituted by the State during the pendency of this petition. 2. An affidavit has been filed by the State, in which it is stated that the Committee has now been constituted which shall be discharging its duties and functions under the mandate of law. 3. Though in the writ petition other reliefs have also been sought, but we find that the petition was filed when nothing was being done. Now, when the Committee has already been constituted, it is expected from the Committee to discharge its functions assigned to it under the Rules of 2017. 4. In case of any particular inaction on the part of the authority with reference to any of the matters covered under the Scheme of the Rules of 2017, it will be open for the petitioner to bring it to the notice of the Committee. If no action is taken, the petitioner would be at liberty to approach the Court. 5. Subject to the aforesaid observations and liberty, the petition stands disposed of.
