JUDGMENT : 1. Heard Shri Vinod Kant Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents. 2. This writ petition has been filed praying for the following relief:- "I. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to release the payment of the articles supplied by the petitioner in Gram Panchayat, Village Angraiya, Block Aliganj, District-Etah." 3. It is the claim of the petitioner that he had supplied articles at Gram Panchayat Angraiya Jamunai in the year 2020 and in this regard certain payment of the petitioner has yet not been released. 4. Although, the petitioner had approached the authorities concerned for payment, but till date due to inaction of the Panchayat Secretary and Village Pradhan admittedly the amount has not been paid to the petitioner. Even the District Panchayat Raj Officer, Etah vide letter dated 19.02.2021 directed for payment of the balance amount, but till date, no remedial measure has taken in the matter. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without adverting on the merits of the case, we leave it open to the petitioner to press his relief before the District Magistrate. 6. In case, he makes a fresh representation before the District Magistrate, concerned within a week, the same would be processed strictly in accordance with law after verifying the record within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 7. The writ petition stands disposed off.
