JUDGMENT : 1. Heard Sri Shambhavi Nandan, learned counsel for the petitioner; Ms. Uttara Bahuguna, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for respondent no.1 and Shri N.K. Giri, learned counsel for the U.P. State Co-operative Societies Election Commission, Lucknow (respondent no.2). 2. Present writ petition is preferred seeking following reliefs:- "I. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.3 to consider the objection dated 23.1.2023 filed by the petitioner and take decision in the matter within stipulated time. II. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.3 not to proceed further with proposed delimitation without passing final order on the objection dated 23.1.2023 filed by petitioner." 3. Sri Narendra Kumar Giri, learned counsel for the respondent no.2, on the basis of instructions, states that the election has already been suspended. As such, the cause of filing the writ petition no more survives and the same may be dismissed as infructuous. 4. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous.
