ORDER : 1. This is a jail appeal filed by the victim appellant against the Judgment & Order of the Judge, Fast Track Court-cum-Addl. District & Sessions Judge, Kolasib District in connection with SC(K) No. 3/2022, Criminal Trial No. 21/2022 under Section 4 of the POCSO Act, wherein the convict appellant was sentenced to undergo Rigorous Imprisonment for 7 (seven) years and to pay a fine of Rs. 20,000/- Admit the appeal. 2. Mrs. Mary L. Khiangte, learned Additional Public Prosecutor accepts notice on behalf of the State respondent. 3. The victim is to be arrayed as respondent No. 2 through her guard/guardian and notice is to be issued to the respondent No. 2 through the OC, Kolasib. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor is to take steps to ensure that notice is being issued and duly served as per the format. Copy of the appeal petition is to be prepared by the Registry and duly served to the respondent No. 2, through the Additional Public Prosecutor. 4. Registry may do the needful. 5. List the matter after 2 (two) weeks. 6. Meanwhile, LCR is to be called for.
