ORDER 1. SLP(Crl.) No. 14339 of 2024 is taken on Board. 2. The grievance of the petitioner(s) is that though the matter is pending since 01.08.2023, there is no progress in the matter. 3. It is stated that the matter is adjourned from day-to-day without any effective hearing. 3. This Court, time and again, has emphasized the importance of personal liberty. 4. It has been observed by this Court even a single day delay in deciding the bail application adversely affect the fundamental rights of the citizens. 4. We do not appreciate the practice of keeping bail application pending for years together. 5. However in the facts of the present case, since we are informed that the matter is kept for 11.11.2024, we request the learned Judge, before whom the matter is placed, to take up the matter on the same date and decide it as expeditiously as possible and, in any case, within a period of two weeks from 11.11.2024. 6. the Special leave petitions are, accordingly, disposed of. 7. Pending application(s), including application for impleadment, stand(s) disposed of.
