ORDER : S.M. Subramaniam, J. [PRAYER:- Review Application filed under Order 47 Rule 1 read with Section 114 of C.P.C., praying to review the order passed by this Hon'ble Court in W.P.(MD) No.22952 of 2021, dated 05.12.2023, on the file of this Hon'ble Court.] The order dated 05.12.2023, passed in W.P.(MD) No.22952 of 2021 is sought to be reviewed in the present review petition. 2. Re-adjudication of issues already considered by the Courts would not fall under the purview of Order 47 Rule 1 C.P.C. The scope of review cannot be expanded so as to reconsider the merits. That apart, grounds for appeal may not be the grounds for review. 3. In the present case, the learned counsel for the review petitioner Mr. RV Rajkumar would submit that the petitioner is entitled for monetary benefits including advance increment. Such issues cannot be adjudicated afresh in the review petition. 4. Thus, we are not inclined to entertain the review petition. Consequently, the review petition stands dismissed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
