ORDER : (Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to allow the petitioner to enroll as an Advocate by considering the Petitioners enrollment Application No. PR/2023/33748 dated 30.09.2023 in accordance with law. The original application submitted by the petitioner to the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry produced by Mr.C.K.Chandrasekar, learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry would reveal that the petitioner has suppressed the fact regarding his involvement in the criminal case. 2. At this juncture, the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has chosen to withdraw the writ petition and also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle. 3. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
