ORDER : S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J. Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent/Registrar General to act upon the complaint of the petitioner's dated 04.06.2024 in accordance with law. The writ of mandamus has been instituted to direct the 1st respondent/Registrar General to initiate appropriate action based on the petitioner's complaint dated 04.06.2024. 2. The petitioner has raised certain serious allegations of corrupt activities against the Judicial Officer. 3. Mr.R.Sankarasubbu, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that the manner in which the Judgment was delivered itself is doubtful. 4. However, we are not inclined to go into said allegations, since a Judge is empowered to act beyond the court hours. Therefore, the pronouncement of Judgment even if made beyond the court hours, the same per se cannot be found fault with. However, the complaint reveals certain other allegations, which require an investigation. In view of the facts and circumstances, the first respondent/Registrar General, Madras High Court is directed to look into the complaint filed by the petitioner on 04.06.2024 and initiate all appropriate actions by following the due process, if necessary. 5. With the above directions, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
