JUDGMENT / ORDER : The above writ petition is filed to declare the action of respondent in not regularizing the petitioners as per the provisions of The Andhra Pradesh Regularization of Services of Contract Employees Act, 2023 (Act No.30 of 2023), as illegal and arbitrary. 2. Heard Sri Anguru Manohar, learned Counsel for the petitioners and Sri S. Raju, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services for the respondents. 3. At the hearing, learned Counsel for the petitioners as well as learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that the matter is squarely covered by the common order dated 14.02.2024 in WP No.30588 of 2018 and Batch. The Division Bench of this Court while disposing of the batch of writ petitions, observed as under : "(3) The learned Government Pleader would submit that in the light of the new enactment viz., the Andhra Pradesh Regularization of Services of Contract Employees Act, 2023 (Act 30 of 2023) (G.O. Ms. No.114), the instant petitioners would be entitled for the relief in terms of the scheme formulated by the State under the said enactment and that as per the scheme of the enactment, all persons who have been hired on contract basis and whose selection has been pursuant to the selection process stipulated under the rules, such persons would be entitled for absorption if they were in service as on 02.06.2014. (4) In the light of the said submission of the learned Government Pleader for Services-IV, we are of the considered view that the cases of the petitioners would have to be reconsidered by the competent authority. (5) The competent authority shall consider the case of the petitioners in terms of Act 30 of 2023 within an outer limit of three months and pass appropriate orders with regard to regularization and absorption..." 4. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of in terms of common order dated 14.02.2024 in WP No.30588 of 2018 and Batch directing the competent authority to consider the case of the petitioners in terms of Act 30 of 2023 and pass appropriate orders within three months strictly as per rules. 5. Registry is directed to annex the copy of the common order dated 14.02.2024 in WP No.30588 of 2018 and Batch to this order. No order as to costs. 6. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
