ORDER : S.M. Subramaniam, J. [PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to grant the petitioner all the monetary benefits consequence of G.O.Ms.No.639, Home (Transport IV) Department dated 30.08.2014 within a stipulated time.] The writ petition has been instituted to direct the respondents to grant the petitioner all the monetary benefits consequent to G.O.Ms.No.639, Home (Transport IV) Department dated 30.08.2014. 2. Mr. Prem Narayanan, the learned Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner would submit that the Government passed an order, but not implemented on account of the fact that the Special Leave Petition was filed.. 3. Since the Special Leave Petition was dismissed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India on 02.02.2015, the Government ought to have implemented the Government Order issued in G.O.Ms.No.639. In view of the fact that the Government Order was not implemented, the present writ petition is filed. More-so, the Government preferred a review petition along with the condone delay petition to condone the delay of 2184 days. Since we have dismissed the condone delay petition and rejected the review petition, the Government Order issued in G.O.Ms.No.639 dated 30.08.2014 is to be given effect to. 4. Accordingly, the petitioner is entitled to get all the benefits as per G.O.Ms.No.639 dated 30.08.2015. The said exercise is directed to be completed within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
