ORDER : (D. Krishnakumar, ACJ.) : (Prayer in W.P.(MD)No.9632 of 2016: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records culminated in impugned advertisement No.CPRD/CR/2016-17/01 dated 05.04.2016 issued by the second respondent and quash the same so far as it relates to the ineligibility condition that candidates with record of default in repayment of loans and / or against whose name adverse report of CIBIL or other external agencies is available are not eligible to apply for the post as arbitrary, unreasonable, unfair, discriminatory and against article 13 and 14 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the second respondent to issue a fresh notification so as to enable a large number of candidates to apply for the post of Junior Associates (Customer Support and Sales) and Junior Agricultural Associates in Clerical Cadre in respondent bank.) (Prayer in W.P.(MD)No.9918 of 2016: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records culminated in impugned advertisement No.CPRD/PO/2016-17/02 dated 04.05.2016 issued by the second respondent and quash the same so far as it relates to the ineligibility condition that candidates with record of default in repayment of loans and / or against whose name adverse report of CIBIL or other external agencies is available are not eligible to apply for the post as arbitrary, unreasonable, unfair, discriminatory and against article 13 and 14 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the second respondent to issue a fresh notification so as to enable a large number of candidates to apply for the post of Probationary Officers in respondent bank.) There is no representation for the petitioner in both the Writ Petitions. 2. The learned Counsel for the respondents submit that the prayer sought for in these Writ Petitions have become infructuous and therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in these Writ Petitions. 3. Recording the said submission, these Writ Petitions are dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
