ORDER : R.SUBRAMANIAN, J. Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, restraining the respondents to establish the TASMAC shop at Angurpalayam Road, Cumbum, Theni District in Survey No. 498/3B, Uthappuram, Uthamapalayam Taluk, Theni District and consequently consider the representations of the petitioner dated 19.07.2024 and 22.07.2024. While the District Manager, TASMAC, Theni, has passed an order on 31.07.2024, stating that the representation of the petitioner is liable to be rejected as it is done to redress his personal grievance. He has also stated that a new location has been identified in Survey No.598/3 to locate new TASMAC Shop No.8553 at Uthamapuram, Angoorpalayam. However, the District Collector, Theni, has in the instructions to the Government Pleader dated 06.08.2024, stated as follows: 2. On being queried as to which one of the communications is correct, Mr.P.Thilakkumar, learned Government Pleader would submit that the communication of the District Collector will be implemented. 3. We record the statement of the learned Government Pleader as well as the District Collector contained in the letter dated 06.08.2024 and we close the writ petition. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
