ORDER : Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent District Educational Officer to approve the appointment of the petitioner as Junior Assistant in the fourth respondent school namely, M.J.K.M. Malankara Syrian Catholic Higher Secondary School, Christurajapuram during the period between 01.04.2008 and 01.06.2009, with all attendant benefits including the arrears of salary and allowance. 1. This Writ Petition has been filed for a Writ of Mandamus, seeking for a direction to the third respondent to approve the appointment of the petitioner as Junior Assistant in the fourth respondent school during the period between 01.04.2008 and 01.06.2009 with all attendant benefits including arrears of salary and allowance. 2. Heard the learned Counsel on either side. 3. At the outset, learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner for the present would be satisfied if the representation seeking for the above relief submitted to the official respondents on 26.08.2016 is directed to be considered on merits and in accordance with law. 4. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the official respondents has also not raised any serious objection for the same. 5. Accordingly, this Court directs the third respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 26.08.2016, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve [12] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, it is made clear that this Court has not expressed any view on the merits of the representation submitted by the petitioner. 6. In the result, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
