ORDER : (R. Subramanian, J.) : (Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing to appoint a retired Judge of this Honourable Court as Administrator to conduct election to elect the members of the managing committee to the 8th respondent society for a period of 3 years in accordance with the bye-laws of the society and to administer the affairs of the 7th respondent college during the interregnum in the light of the directions issued by this Honourable Court earlier in W.P(MD)No.22815 of 2018 dated 22.11.2018 within the period that may be stipulated by this Honourable Court.) The prayer in the writ petition reads as follows: ''To issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing to appoint a retired Judge of this Honourable Court as Administrator to conduct election to elect the members of the managing committee to the 8th respondent society for a period of 3 years in accordance with the bye-laws of the society and to administer the affairs of the 7th respondent college during the interregnum in the light of the directions issued by this Honourable Court earlier in W.P(MD)No.22815 of 2018 dated 22.11.2018 within the period that may be stipulated by this Honourable Court.'' 2. Mr. Veera Kathiravan, learned Additional Advocate General would submit that in another writ petition W.P(MD)No.19261 of 2024, this Court by order dated 12.08.2024 had appointed Hon'ble Mr. Justice V. BHARATHIDASAN (Retd.) as Administrator to conduct election for the 8th respondent Society. 3. In view of the said order, the prayer of the petitioner has stand satisfied. Hence, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
