JUDGMENT : DEEPAK GUPTA, J. By way of present petition, the four petitioners pray for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.128 dated 29.09.2023, under Sections 420, 379, 447, 425, 427, 506, 511, 120-B, 148 and 149 of IPC, besides Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959, registered at Police Station Raja Sansi, District Amritsar. 2. The allegations are that petitioners along with various other co-accused entered the fields of the complainant and harvested the crop while armed with weapons. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the land belonged to the Panchayat and that it is a civil dispute. 4. Short reply by way of affidavit of Dr. Riputapan Singh, deputy Superintendent of Police, Sub Division Ajnala, Amritsar Rural has been filed on behalf of the respondent-State. 5. After goring through the reply, it appears to the Court that dispute is civil in nature regarding possession of the land in question. As such, the present petition is allowed. It is directed that in the event of the arrest of the petitioners, they shall be released on bail on their furnishing personal/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer/Investigating Officer. They shall also abide by conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. They shall also continue to join the investigation, as and when required by the Investigating Officer.
