JUDGMENT : 1. Heard learned counsel for the applicant as well as learned A.G.A. and perused material on record. 2. The present application has been filed by the applicant with a prayer to issue direction to the court concerned to expedite the proceedings of Case No. 771 of 2023 arising out of Case Crime No. 8 of 2023 under Sections 498A, 323, 504, 506 I.P.C. and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station Mahila Thana, District Baghpat, pending before Civil Judge (Jr. Div.)/ F.T.C., Baghpat. 3. It is submitted that in this case, a Case No. 771 of 2023 arising out of Case Crime No. 8 of 2023 under Sections 498A, 323, 504, 506 I.P.C. and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act is pending before the court concerned since the year 2023, therefore requested to issue direction to the court concerned to expedite the proceedings of the case within a stipulated period. 4. Learned A.G.A. has no objection in this regard. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and submission made by learned counsel for applicant as well as learned A.G.A., it is expedient to direct the court concerned to make its endeavour to expedite the proceedings of the case in view of provision as contained under Section 309 Cr.P.C., without granting any unnecessary or long adjournments to either of the parties, if there is no other legal impediment or any stay order from this Court or by the Hon'ble Apex Court. 6. With the aforesaid directions, the present application stands disposed of finally.
