ORDER : Battu Devanand, J. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 3 rd respondent in pressurizing and threatening the petitioner to withdraw the suit i.e., O.S.No.126 of 2017 on the file of Senior Civil Judge, Kovur and vacate the land of an extent Ac.3.40 cents in Sy.Nos. 24-2, 24-3, 23-A situated at Uppalapadu Village, Ananthasagaram Mandal, SPSR Nellore District as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents not to interfere in the civil disputes pending between the petitioner and 4 th respondent. 2. Originally, this Writ Petition was listed before this Court on 13.12.2017 and it is adjourned for one week at the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner. Thereafter, this case was not listed till 26.09.2025. 3. During the course of hearing, today, the learned Government Pleader for Home appearing for Respondent Nos.1 to 3 has placed a copy of the written instructions received from the 3 rd respondent, dated 24.10.2025 and basing on the averments therein he would submit that the allegations levelled against the respondent-police are totally false and baseless and the 3 rd respondent never pressurized nor threatened the petitioner to withdraw the suit i.e., O.S.No.126 of 2017 on the file of Senior Civil Judge Court, Kovvur. He further submits that the 3 rd respondent did not interfered into the civil disputes between the petitioner and the 4 th respondent and he never sent his staff to the petitioner’s house. The learned Assistant Government Pleader further contends that the entire allegation against the respondent-police are false and invented for filing the present Writ Petition and accordingly sought to dismiss the Writ Petition. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the considered opinion that there is sufficient force in the contention of the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. If really the respondent- police had threatened the petitioner to withdraw the suit, after filing of the Writ Petition in the year 2017, the petitioner or her counsel would not kept quiet for Eight (8) years without prosecuting the writ petition. 5. Accordingly, considering the submissions of the learned Government Pleader for Home, this Writ Petition is disposed of placing the written instructions, dated 24.10.2025 submitted by the 3 rd respondent on record wherein it is stated that the police are not interfering into the civil disputes between the petitioner and the 4 th respondent. 6. There shall be no order as to costs. 7. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this case shall stand closed.
