ORDER : M.NAGAPRASANNA, J. 1. The petitioners are before this Court seeking the following prayer: A. Issue any writ of Mandamus or order or direction, directing the 4 th Respondent to consider the application/representation of petitioners as per Annexure-B for regularization of land Sy No. 53/5a, 33 and 62 to the extent mentioned in their application situated at Chatnihalli Village, Tq Rattihalli Dist Haveri, in the interest of justice and B. Grant such other reliefs this Hon’ble court deems fit in the circumstances of this case, with costs. 2. Heard the learned counsel Sri.Sunil S. Desai for the petitioners and the learned AGA appearing for respondent-State. 3. The petitioners are said to be in occupation of certain lands as depicted in the petition right from 11.12.2003. It transpires that the petitioners have submitted representations to the respondent No.4 to consider their cases for regularisation in terms of regularisation of those unauthorised occupancy, in terms of the provisions of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act and other elite Rules. The petitioners are before this Court apprehending that they would be dispossessed without consideration of their cases in terms of their representations under the aforesaid Rules. 4. The learned AGA would submit that if reasonable time is granted, the representations of the petitioners would meet its consideration and appropriate orders would be passed in accordance with law. 5. In the light of the said submission, without going into the merit of the claim of these petitioners, I deem it appropriate to direct the 4 th respondent to consider the representations of these petitioners and pass necessary orders in accordance with law, within 12 weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of the order, if not earlier. 6. All contentions of both the parties shall remain open. 7. In the light of the said submission, till the consideration of the representations the petitioners, if in possession, as on today, shall not be dispossessed from the subject lands.
