ORDER : 1. Appellants lay challenge to the judgment and order dated 15.05.2015 passed by the High Court of Himachal Pradesh at Shimla in CWP No.7498 of 2014, titled “Mangla Devi vs. State of H.P. & Ors.” 2. Notice on the petition was issued on 11.09.2015 in terms of the following order: “Exemption from filing O.T. is allowed. We are not inclined to entertain this petition except to the extent where the High Court has struck down Rule 12 of Part Time Water Carrier Appointment Scheme–2011 relating to appointment on compassionate ground. Issue notice limited only to this extent.” 3. In view of the intervening developments, as is so stated at the Bar, perhaps the present appeal has become infructuous. 4. In view thereof, we dispose of the present appeal leaving the question of law open. 5. Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
