JUDGMENT : These are cases challenging the rejection of the applications seeking EWS certificates, which was based on Ext.P7 Government Order produced in W.P.(C) No.14619 of 2021. In all these cases interim order has been issued by this Court directing the 3 rd respondent to issue EWS certificates to the petitioners provisionally, subject to the outcome of the writ petitions. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that Ext.P7 Government Order produced in W.P.(C) No.14619 of 2021 has been modified by the Government issuing GO(Ms) No.23/2024/P&ARD dated 27.11.2024 and that going by the stipulations in the said Government Order the petitioners are entitled for issuance of EWS certificates. Petitioners would further submit that they have to make fresh applications for issuance of EWS certificates as the validity of the earlier certificates has already expired and therefore their applications may be directed to be considered in the light of the fresh Government Order dated 27.11.2024. Taking into consideration the above facts and circumstances I am inclined to dispose of the writ petitions as follows: Petitioners shall make fresh applications seeking EWS certificates before the 3 rd respondent within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of the judgment. If such applications are received, the 3 rd respondent shall consider and pass orders on the same in the light of the Government Order, ie., GO(Ms) No.23/2024/P&ARD dated 27.11.2024 within an outer limit of one month thereafter.
