ORDER : M.NAGAPRASANNA, J. 1. The petitioners are before this Court seeking the following prayer: In W.P.No.106191/2024: 1. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the Land Acquisition officer to pass general award under section 23 of The Right to Fair Compensation And Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, in respect of the petitioner's lands. 2. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No.6 to consider the representations dated 18/04/2024, 14/10/2024 and 16/10/2024 produced at Annexures-C, C1 to C 38 to pass a general award in respect of the petitioner's lands. 3. Pass such other order or orders as this Hon’ble court may deems fit in circumstances of the case. In W.P.No.107317/2024: 1. Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the Land Acquisition officer to pass general award under section 23 of The Right to Fair Compensation And Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, in respect of the petitioner's lands. 2. The learned counsel Sri.Anil Kale would submit that during the subsistence of the subject petitions, a Government Order is notified by the State on 09.10.2025. The order reads as follows: 3. The learned counsel would now submit that the petitioners are agreeable for what is depicted in the Government Order and therefore would seek a direction for payment of compensation on a consent award in terms of the Government Order dated 09.10.2025. 4. The learned HCGP submits that she has instructions that the petitioners have already received the amount qua the consent award in terms of the Government Order dated09.10.2025. 5. Be that as it may. The benefit of the Government Order dated 09.10.2025 shall be afforded to the petitioners in accordance with law, if not already paid, in terms of the Government Order dated 19.10.2025 by drawing a consent award qua the petitioners within an outer limit of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of the order, if not earlier. 6.

As observed hereinabove, the benefit of the Government Order shall be rendered to these petitioners in terms of the Government Order dated 09.10.2025, if not already granted, for which purpose, the impugned orders will not come in the way. Therefore, the petitioners shall now appear before the concerned SLAO on 15.12.2025 at 11.00 a.m. and on the appearance of the petitioners, the concerned SLAO shall act in accordance with the Government Order dated 09.10.2025 and disburse the award amount / the consent award amount. 7. With the aforesaid observations, petition stands disposed.
