ORDER : 1. The petitioners have sought for a writ in the nature of mandamus to the respondent Nos.1 and 2 to consider their representations vide Annexures 'N' and 'O' dated 24.01.2025 and 30.01.2025 respectively, in accordance with the proceedings of respondent No.2 (signed by respondent No.3) vide Annexure 'E' bearing 84689/23-24 dated 19.08.2024. They have also sought for a writ in the nature of mandamus to consider the services rendered by the petitioners from the date of joining in their earlier employment i.e., City Municipal Council, Town Municipal Council as the case may be for the purposes of calculation of leave, pension and retiral benefits in terms of the Government Order dated 18.12.2023 vide Annexure 'H' and as per the order of the respondent No.2 bearing 23-24 dated 19.08.2024 vide Annexure 'E' in respect of the employees of Grama Panchayath whose services were merged with the services of the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP). 2. The learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the facts in the present case are similar to the facts in W.P. No.33887/2024, which was disposed off by this Court in terms of the order dated 16.12.2024. He, therefore, prays that this petition may also be disposed off on similar terms. 3. Learned counsel for the respondent No.2 does not dispute that the facts in the present case and the facts in W.P.No.33887/2024 are similar. 4. In that view of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed off in terms of the order dated 16.12.2024 passed in W.P. No.33887/2024. 5. The respondent No.2 is directed to consider the case of the petitioners and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. 6. Learned Additional Government Advocate is permitted to file a memo of appearance for respondent Nos.1, 3 and 4 within 10 days from today.
